This practical, awareness-focused class is designed for graduating high school seniors preparing for college, life, and greater independence.

~45 minute class with a small-group format: minimum 6 / maximum 10 seniors

The primary focus of this course is:

Alcohol intoxication emergencies
Opioid overdose recognition and response
Naloxone (Narcan) awareness
Recovery position and airway protection
Recognizing when someone needs immediate medical help
Students will also receive a brief introduction to hands-only CPR, AED use, choking response, and severe bleeding control.
THERE IS NO FORMAL CERTIFICATION ASSOCIATED WITH THIS COURSE.
