Save a life 101: Intoxication, Overdose + Emergency Response for graduating high school seniors

This practical, awareness-focused class is designed for graduating high school seniors preparing for college, life, and greater independence.

~45 minute class with a small-group format: minimum 6 / maximum 10 seniors

Hosted at your home or location of choice

Purchase of a Harm Reduction Kit for students ‍ ‍or a $20 donation per participant to BirdieLight.

The primary focus of this course is:

  • Alcohol intoxication emergencies

  • Opioid overdose recognition and response

  • Naloxone (Narcan) awareness

  • Recovery position and airway protection

  • Recognizing when someone needs immediate medical help

  • Students will also receive a brief introduction to hands-only CPR, AED use, choking response, and severe bleeding control.

  • THERE IS NO FORMAL CERTIFICATION ASSOCIATED WITH THIS COURSE.
